Take Home Test/Project Take Home Test/Project Make up a real-world problem/scenario and solve/explain it using class concepts. The project must include the slope, a graph, and a linear equation (written in slope intercept, standard, and point-slope form) that represents your real world problem/scenario. It should be done on construction paper, have a detailed description of the connection/application that the problem/scenario shares with linear equations and graphs, and have step by step descriptions of your problem solving and reasoning. 	Poor Student needs improvement. 5 pts	Fair Student knows what he/she is doing for the most part. Room for slight improvements. 8 pts	Good Student demonstrates mastery and creativity. 10 pts
Concepts 4 pts Used all of the three concepts appropriately, and wrote the linear equations in the three forms.	Poor Student used only 1 of the three required concepts. Or the student used the concepts incorrectly.	Fair Student used 2-3 of the required concepts with close accuracy. Student made minor mistakes in regards to the concepts.	Good Student used all 3 of the concepts appropriately. Showed mastery knowledge of how to use each concept effectively.
Description 3 pts Enter description	Poor Student gave minimal or no detailed descriptions of the problem/scenario, the connection/application, or the step by step problem solving and reasoning.	Fair Student gave brief descriptions of the problem/scenario, the connection/application, or the step by step problem solving and reasoning.	Good Student gave very detailed and thought out descriptions of the problem/scenario, the connection/application, and the step by step problem solving and reasoning.
Creativity/Presentation 3 pts Enter description	Poor Student presented work that looks as if it were put together last minute. There is very little to no creativity.	Fair The project looks like some time was spent on it. Student's work was somewhat creative. Could have been a little more creative and neat.	Good The teacher can tell that much time was spent on putting the project together. The project is extremely creative and interesting to look at.
