Fall Practical Exam Pt. 1
	Sanitation & Draping 10 pts	Subsections 10 pts	Procedure 10 pts	Safety Procedures 10 pts	Supplies 10 pts
Perm Roll Student performs a state board perm rol	Sanitation & Draping Student sanitizes hands before the beginning of demo but not before timer begins Student drapes with a chemical drape Student keeps station neat and tidy throughout the demo Implements are clean, replaces implements if dropped	Subsections Subsections are equal to diameter of rods Subsections are as wide as the rod w/o overlapping rod Rods are placed on a 1/2 base throughout perm roll	Procedure Hair is spread evenly across rod Papers extend beyond the hair Proper tension is used, no large gaps and bands do not sit on scalp Containers remain closed when not in use	Safety Procedures Protective cotton is used around all 6 rods Protective gloves are worn while applying solution Student does not allow solution to run on scalp Performs a Test Curl for instructor	Supplies Student has all supplies and does not need to go back into their locker or dispensary for additional items Student cleans up during the time limit Student completes drill in 20 minutes
Curl Demo Student performs a stateboard curl demo	Sanitation & Draping Student sanitizes hands before beginning demo Student maintains a chemical drape Student keeps station neat and tidy throughout the demo	Subsections Subsection of roller is equal to the diameter of the roller Subsection is as wide as roller w/o overlapping Roller is placed ON BASE and is on the apex area and secured in the base using double prong clippies	Procedure Student places a no stem (flat) pincurl on the right side of head in front of the ear Pincurl is secured with single prong clip thru the base of curl with points facing the floor	Safety Procedures Removes products from containers without contamination Containers remain closed with not in use	Supplies Student has all supplies needed and does not need to go back into locker or dispensary for additional items Student completes a three-ridge finger wave 4 inches wide Finger wave ridges are 1" apart Student completes drill in 15 minutes
