	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Mechanics	Poor Review has several grammatical and/or spelling errors.	Fair Review has some grammatical and/or spelling errors.	Good Reporter uses correct grammatical structure and spelling.
Word Choice	Poor Reporter fails to describe the song/artist.	Fair Reporter uses descriptors to describe the song/artist.	Good Reporter uses precise and colorful descriptors to clearly describe the song/artist. These descriptors are based on her/his subjective opinion.<BR> (ie - adjectives, adverbs, nouns, verbs)
Important Information	Poor Reporter fails to include any information about the song/performer, or includes erroneous information.	Fair Reporter includes information the audience already knows, or does not educate the audience.	Good Reporter includes important information that educates the audience so s/he knows what to expect from the song/artist.
Correct Audience	Poor Reporter fails to identify the audience, or wrongly identifies him/her.	Fair Reporter identifies the audience, but does not reach out to him/her.	Good Reporter correctly identifies the audience and composes an article that reaches out to him/her.
Persuasion	Poor Reporter fails to persuade the audience to listen to or avoid the song.	Fair	Good Reporter persuades the audience to either consider listening to the song and check out the artist, or avoid the song and possibly the artist.
