RESUME DE LECTURE Student must read a short story, then write a summary of what happened in the beginning, the middle and the end. In the summary, the title and author must be given, as well as a description of the character. In the end, the student must state their personal opinion on the reading and explain why they feel this way.

Task	Poor Student did not follow the instructions. There are many components missing and or not written according to the expectations.	Fair Student followed almost all of the instructions. There is one or two components missing from the expected task.	Good Student followed all instructions and went above and beyond the expectations of the task.
Grammar & synthax Tenses, gender & number agreement, sentence structure	Poor The passage contains many errors which hinder comprehension of the passage most of the time. The sentences are not well structured and or the paragraphs are not well organized. The writing does not meet the standards.	Fair The passage contains some errors which sometimes hinder comprehension of the passage. The sentences are sometimes structured well and the paragraphs are sometimes well organized.	Good The passage is virtually error free. There are minor grammatical errors which do not hinder any of the comprehension of the passage. The sentences are structured well and the paragraphs are also organized well.
