	High 3 pts	On Target 2 pts	Basic 1 pts
Capital Letters	High Independently begins sentences and proper nouns with capital letters.	On Target Begins sentences and proper nouns with capital letters with some teacher assistance.	Basic Only begins sentences and proper nouns with capital letters with teacher assistance.
Ending Punctuation	High Correctly uses ending punctuation with no teacher assistance.	On Target Correctly uses ending punctuation with some teacher assistance.	Basic Correctly uses ending punctuation but needs teacher assistance.
Constructing Sentence	High Constructs a complete sentence with no teacher assistance.	On Target Constructs a complete sentence with some teacher assistance.	Basic Constructs a complete sentence with teacher assistance.
Multimedia/Graphics	High Uses Multimedia/grahics appropriately to enhance writing.	On Target Uses Multimedia/grahics appropriately to enhance writing with some teacher assistance.	Basic Uses Multimedia/grahics appropriately to enhance writing with teacher assistance.
