Earth Day Recycled Items Project Earth Day Recycled Items Project Students will use recycled materials to create something useful. Accompanying their project will be a written portion (3 paragraphs or a 3-paragraph brochure explaining/selling their new product. Students will need to collect various recycled materials for their project. Be creative and use your resources to help create a product. The entire project is due Thursday, May 8, 2014. Creativity	No Attempt Project was not creative at all.	Poor Project was completed with very little creativity (sloppy, un colored pictures, etc.)	Fair Project was some what creative with neat, colored pictures and product.	Good Project was creative.
Used receyled items	No Attempt Project was not attempted or no recycled items were used.	Poor Project conatined mainly new items.	Fair Project contained a mixture of recycled and new items.	Good Project used recycled items only.
Usefulness of project	No Attempt Project was not attempted.	Poor Project is of little use.	Fair Project would be some what useful in every day life.	Good Project would be useful in every day life.
Written Portion	No Attempt Project has no written portion turned in.	Poor Project has only 1 paragraph.	Fair Project has only 2 paragraphs.	Good Project has at least 3 paragraphs explaining: 1) The recycled items used and 2) How your recycled item will be used in everyday life, and 3) The importance of recycling and how it will help our Earth.
