Chinese Video " I Am a Chinese Teacher" Rubric Chinese skit performance rubric This rubric is designed for project "I Am a Chinese Teacher" skit. Pronunciation (5 pts )	Poor Students pronounced words incorrectly throughout their presentation.	Fair Students often pronounced words incorrectly, but it showed some efforts.	Good Students pronounced words and tones correctly most of the times.	Excellent Students pronounced words and tones correctly with only a few mistakes.
Use of vocabulary (5 pts)	Poor Students didn't show any efforts to use newly learned vocabulary.	Fair Students used minimum amount of new vocabulary to get through the presentation.	Good Students used new vocabulary effectively.	Excellent Students used new vocabulary effectively and creatively.
Fluency (5 pts)	Poor Student presented a below average demonstration of Chinese fluency. Student read their notes the whole time.	Fair Student presented an low average demonstration of Chinese fluency. Student read their notes most of the time.	Good Student presented an average demonstration of Chinese fluency. Student read their notes some of the time.	Excellent Student presented an above average fluency performance. Student did not read their notes all the time.
Effort and Creativity (5 points)	Poor The students presented little creativity in their skit.The students put little to no effort into the presentation and the group grade suffered because of attitude.	Fair The students' presentation had few to some creative elements. The students could have done more to contribute and/or was not showing enthusiasm in front of the class.	Good The students' presentation was creative with some areas that could be improved. The students showed some enthusiasm.	Excellent The students' work was highly creative and unique! The students were excited with the project and enjoyed the presentation.
