Dig	Excellent body in althletic stance, weight on balls of feet, knees bent, lock elbows straight, hands together, contact on the fleshy forearms, very high level of control of the ball	Good Body in athletic stance, weight on balls of feet, knees bent, lock elbows straight, hands together, contact on the fleshy forearms, high level of control of the ball	Fair weight on heels, elbows were bent, ball was playable for teammates, some control of ball	Poor hands were apart, body in upright position, no attempt to keep ball in play.
Set	Excellent body in athletic stance, made a triangle for hands, good follow through, pass could be spiked, very high level of control of the ball	Good body in athletic stance, made a triangle for hands, good follow through, high level of control of the ball	Fair made a triangle, hit ball off of palms (not fingers), some control of ball	Poor body in upright position hands below shoulders no effort made to keep ball in play.
