Story Elements	Excellent Story has a catchy beginning, interesting story line, lots of details, character development, and a conclusion.	Good Story has a catchy beginning, interesting story line, many details, some character development, and a conclusion.	Average Story has an okay beginning, easy to follow story line, a few details, some character development, and a conclusion.	Below Average Story begins abruptly, story line is a bit hard to follow, has very few details, lacks character development, and/or a poor conclusion.	Unacceptable Story begins abruptly, story line is a difficult to follow, has no details, lacks character development, and/or lacks a conclusion.
Neatness/Organization	Excellent Math Curse book is neatly written, colorful, has numbered pages, and meets all expectations.	Good Math Curse book is neatly written, colorful, has numbered pages, and meets most expectations.	Average Math Curse book is neatly written, pictures and text are in black and white and/or has no page numbers, and some expectations are followed.	Below Average Math Curse book is messy, pictures and text are in black and white, has no page numbers, and meets few expectations.	Unacceptable Math Curse book is very messy, pictures and text are in black and white, has no page numbers, and meets very few expectations.
