Evaluating WebQuests Evaluating WebQuests The WebQuest format can be applied to a variety of teaching situations. If you take advantage of all the possibilities inherent in the format, your students will have a rich and powerful experience. This rubric will help you pinpoint the ways in which your WebQuest isn't doing everything it could do. (Note: this rubric is done during a hands on traning from a rubric at SDSU). Overall Visual Appeal & Legibility	Undeveloped The questions are not comprehendible and incorrect grammar is used.	Needs Improvement Over 75% of the questions are not comprehendible and a lot of grammar mistakes.	Satisfactory 50% of the questions are comprehendible and some grammar mistakes.	Good Almost all of the questions were comprehendible and there were few to any grammar mistakes.	Excellent All questions were perfectly composed.
Navigation & Flow	Undeveloped The answers were not on the given web page.	Needs Improvement Getting through the lesson is confusing and unconventional. Pages can't be found easily.	Satisfactory There are a few places where the learner can get lost and not know where to go next.	Good There are 0-1 places where the learner can get lost and not know where to go next.	Excellent Navigation is seamless. It is always clear to the learner what all the pieces are and how to get to them.
