Expected Clear, logical, relevant ideas created from both peer and instructor involvement.	Growing Partial thoughts, or forms ideas with many prompts and questions from the instructor.	Emergent difficulty making connections even with instructor prompts
Explanations (text evidence) explains in wrtiting the source of the connection and the connection itself	Excellent Comprehensive, complete, in-depth unaided explanations and evidence from the text	Expected Clear, focused, relevant explanations mostly from the text.	Growing Some unanswered questions, some opinion, little evidence.	Emergent Irrelevant, incomplete, or no evidence from the text.
Organization Organizes thoughts in a coherent and sharable way	Excellent Creates well thought out paragraphs that make sense and flow cohesively.
