Comic Strip Comic Strip This is a rubric grading the comic strip using Make Beliefs Comix or ReadWriteThink. http://www.makebeliefscomix.com/Comix/ http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/comic/ You must print off your comic and COLOR it. then you will cut it out and paste it to a piece of Construction paper. Creativity	Excellent The comic has a great creative aspect to it. It is in color and done beautifully.	Average The comic has some creativity, but could have more. A little color or average job of coloring	Poor The comic strip has little or no creativity. No Color
Coinsides with Ch. 2	Excellent The comic is an excellent example of students understanding of Ch. 2	Average The comic is an average example of students understanding of Ch. 2	Poor The comic is an poor example of students understanding of Ch. 2
Explination of Comic	Excellent Student wrote a paragraph that explains the comic and uses definitions from Ch. 2	Average Student wrote an average paragraph that explains the comic and uses definitions from Ch. 2	Poor Student did not write a paragraph that explains the comic and uses definitions from Ch. 2
Flow of Comic	Excellent Student showed great effort in group collaboration and the flow of the comic was great.	Average Student showed some effort in group collaboration, but could of collaborated more with group to make comic flow better.	Poor Student showed little or no effort in group collaboration, and the flow of the comic was not good.
Overall Quality of Project	Excellent The comic was easy to read, had great flow, and showed understanding of Ch. 2. Was pasted on Construction paper with a paragraph description	Average The comic had some flow, and showed some understanding of Ch. 2. Was not pasted on Construction paper or had no paragraph with it	Poor The comic did not even cover the essentials it should have. It had very little flow, and showed very little understanding of Ch. 2. Didn't have a paragraph or was not pasted on construction paper
