	Outstanding 25 pts	Good 15 pts	Fair 10 pts	Poor 5 pts
Game Play - Navigation	Outstanding Game play is easily understandable and can be learned quickly by all players. Character navigation is very easily understood and executed.	Good The game is easily understandable and character navigaion is sound.	Fair Game play can be learned through time and effort by all players. Character navigation is not easily understood.	Poor Game play is overly complicated or overly simple. It may be very difficult to understand for any player. Little or no character navigation.
Higher Order Thinking	Outstanding To be successful, the game requires players to access and use higher order thinking -- analyzing, evaluating, and creating.	Good The game requires players to use some higher order thinking.	Fair The game does not require higher order thinking and tends to rely on basic processing -- applying, understanding, and remembering.	Poor The game does not require students to use any higher order thinking.
Player Interest	Outstanding Players are interested and engaged in the game at all times. Players find it hard to stop - they just want to play more!	Good Players are interested and engaged in the game.	Fair Players maintain some interest in the game, but not consistently throughout.	Poor Players easily become bored or disengaged in the game.
Required Components	Outstanding The game has all requried components but the use and combination of these components has introduced a more exciting and well thought game.	Good The game has all requried components and has added a few that does not distract from the game but adds depth to the game.	Fair The game only has the reqired components.	Poor The game does not have all required components.
