Alteration-Sew on a button/shank Alteration-Sew on a button/shank This rubric will be use to assess student as they learn how to properly alterate garments. The client will also have an opportunity to give the student feed back as they perform the alterations. With a little more effort this project would be stage ready. Items needing adjustments could have been attended to before handing the project in for grading. 3 pts	Excellent All directions are followed, Student worked to the very best of his/her ability. Sewing of button(s) Tie a knot by rolling it off the forefinger. Start sewing of the button on the right side of the garment. Go through the button holes several times.
