Vanishing Point Show understanding of how to use a vanishing point to create deep space.	Level 2 Does not show clear understanding of how to use a vanishing point to show the illusion of deep space.	Level 3 Shows some understanding of how to use a vanishing point to create the illusion of deep space.	Level 4 Shows clear understanding of how to use a vanishing point to create the illusion of deep space.
Vertical Lines All side edges of buildings, doors, and windows must go straight up and down.	Level 2 Side edges are slanted but should go straight up and down .	Level 3 Some side edges that are supposed to be vertical go straight up and down and some are slanted.	Level 4 All side edges of buildings, doors, and windows go straight up and down. None slant sideways.
Orthogonals All top and bottom edges of buildings, doors, and windows angle to the vanishing point.	Level 2 Few top and bottom edges of buildings, doors, and windows angle to the vanishing point.	Level 3 Some top and bottom edges of buildings, doors, and windows angle to the vanishing point.	Level 4 All top and bottom edges of buildings, doors, and windows angle to the vanishing point.
Colour Colour enhances the picture and makes each feature pop out.	Level 2 Painting is rushed and sloppy. Hard to tell what many elements of the painting are.	Level 3 Painting is done well. Most parts of the picture are made clear by painting.	Level 4 Painting is meticulously done and enhances the whole work.
One Door or Window Each building must have at least one door or window drawn correctly.	Level 2 Doors and windows are not drawn correctly using vertical lines on the up and down edges and using diagonal lines to the vanishing point.	Level 3 Some doors and windows are drawn correctly using vertical lines on the up and down edges and using diagonal lines to the vanishing point. Effort Show good effort in controlling media and creating a 1-point perspective design.	Level 2 Does not show good effort in drawing and coloring artwork carefully.	Level 3 Shows some effort in drawing and coloring carefully on artwork.	Level 4 Final artwork shows much care and effort to draw and color neatly and carefully.
