Design Sketch Rubric
	Below Average 1 pts	Average 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Advanced 4 pts
Individual Projects	Below Average Did not finish project in a satisfactory manner.	Average Finished project but lacked finishing touches or can be improved with little effort.	Proficient Completed projects in an above average manner, yet more could have been done.	Advanced Completed projects and far exceeded the requirements for the project.
Drawing	Below Average Drawings are not completed.	Average Drawings show some effort. A lack of planning is evident.	Proficient Drawings show that they applied effort and planning.	Advanced Drawings shows that they applied their best effort and their drawings were well planned.
Creativity	Below Average Design shows little or no evidence of original thought.	Average Design lacks sincere originality.	Proficient Design demonstrates originality.	Advanced Design demonstrates a unique level of originality.
Craftsmanship	Below Average Drawings are messy and shows erase marks, smudges, lines not straight, colours are not balanced, textures do not compliment ones another. All requirements missing.	Average My drawings are somewhat messy and show erase marks, smudges, lines not straight, colours are not balanced, textures do not compliment ones another. Some requirements missing.	Proficient My drawings are neat and shows very little evidence of and shows erase marks, smudges, lines not straight, colours are not balanced, textures do not compliment ones another. Most all requirements completed.	Advanced My drawings are very neat and show no evidence of missing components.
