Poor Letters hardly illustrates the student's understanding of how the character changed by the end of the story.
Character Voice	Excellent Student accurately portrays the voices of the characters from the story. The character speaks and acts based on events in the text.	Good Student portrays the voices of the characters from the story. Connections to events in the text are mostly clear, but not fully developed or well though out.	Fari Student somewhat accurately portrays the voices of the characters from the story. Connections to events in the text are not quite as clear.	Poor The voices of the characters are hard to discern from that of the writer/student.
