Basketball Lesson
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Dribbling 1, 3 and 5 points	Poor Dribbles with head down and fumbles the basketball continuosly	Fair Dribbles with head up sometimes, fumbles the ball occasionaly	Good Dribbles with head up and controls the ball at will
Passing 1, 3, and 5 points	Poor Passes do not hit the target, doesn't have enough zip or finese for certain passes	Fair Passes randomly hits target, sometimes passes too hard or soft	Good Passes are on target with just enough zip or finese
Shooting 1, 3, and 5 point	Poor Form is inadequate, no follow through, and no confidence in their shot	Fair Form and follow through could use some work, but confidence is average	Good Form and follow through are proto-type. Has confidence in their shot
Effort 1, 3, and 5 points	Poor Never plays with energy. Stands around. Never gets a workout Always makes excuses.	Fair Occasionally plays with energy. Needs frequent reminders. Occasionally gets a workout.	Good Consistently does their best with energy at all times regardless of the score. Consistently hustles & gets a good workout
Sporting Behavior 2, 5, 8 points	Poor 2 points Never plays hard, safe and fair. Never supportive of teammates. Never offers encouragement.	Fair 5 points Occasionally plays hard, safe and fair. Needs frequent reminders. Occasionally supportive of teammates. Occasionally offer encouragement.	Good 8 points Consistently plays hard, safe and fair. Consistently supportive of teammates. Consistently offers encouragement.
Academics 2, 5, 8 points	Poor 2 points Failing more than 2 subject areas with an F, including specials.	Fair 5 points Failing at least 1 subject with an F.	Good 8 points Passing all subjects including specials with at least a D or better.
