Muckraker Project Muckraker Project Work as teams to create a poster and presentation. Presentations can be as simple as speaking about their muckraker, or a video or PowerPoint presentation. Students will include: their muckaker's name, required biographical information, an image or images of their muckraker, an image or images representing their muckraker's cause or causes, and include a quote as well as their reasoning for having chosen that quote. Content Knowledge	Poor The poster AND presentation lack elements required. There are many gaps in information presented. .	Good All required information in included EITHER in the poster or presentation, but lacks clear cohesiveness and/or explanation for classmates.	Exceeds The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative and clear. Presentation showed clear knowledge of subject.
Work quality/effort	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Visual Appeal	Poor Poorly constructed.	Good Poster is attractive and well constructed.	Exceeds Poster is of exceptional quality and presentation. Learner put their very best effort forward to create an outstanding poster.
Expectations/Potential	Poor Does not meet teachers expectations or team potential.	Good Numerous areas of project meets teachers expectations and team potential.	Exceeds Project fully meets teachers expectations and team potential.
Individual Responsibilities	Poor Your lack of effort cost your team points. (GROUP WILL BE PENALIZED 5 POINTS IN THIS SITUATION)	Good You put in effort and did just enough to get by.	Exceeds A clear effort was put forth on individual parts of the project and your best work showed.
