Little to no effort towarss the creativity, far too many content errors, or poor completion/ editing process.

Fair

Errors are evident, some signs of creativity, more editing and planning necessary to eliminate content mistakes

Good

Few errors in content and editing. Above average follow through in completion, while creatively linking content with project.

150 pts

Excellent

Less than 3 content errors and less than 5 editing errors. Project shows extensive planning and execution, while creatitvity is superb in linking classroom objectives to project.

200 pts

Creativity

Does the student project display unique and creative understanding of the text

Poor

Proposal was as far as creativity went. Links to ccontent are traditional and in no way outside the teacher proposed projects.
Fair

Some effort beyond the proposal is present. More time needed in development of concepts proposed. Idea was better than product.
Good

Creativity exceeds teacher proposed project
Excellent

Proposal exceeds expectations in creativity and connection to novel.
Content

Does the project address concepts and standards addressed in class? Does it satisfy the requirements addressed with teacher and individual?

Poor

Multiple content errors. No discernible connection to classroom concepts or standards. Little understanding of novel connected to the project.
Fair

Contains content errors, but connection to novel study is precieved. Connections to class study needed to be better established.
Good

Few errors in class concepts, standards. Satisfactorily addressess the proposed goals and content areas. Contains additional information to futher connect main project outcomes.
Excellent

All proposed content is present, as well as material that strengthens connections or additional class standards addressed.
Execution/ Completion

Was it completed on time? Were there content mistakes? Did the project complete what the proposal said it would?

Poor

Editing errors are prevelent. Execution or follow through of project shows little development or planning.
Fair

Many errors, but shows some editing. Planning is evident, but needed more practice or better execution.
Good

On time. Minor editing needed or few mistakes. Content had few misconnections or exemptions. Good execution of proposed project.
Excellent

Less than 3 content errors or 5 editing miscues. Presentation is above average or follow through exceeds expectations.
