Math Assignment Rubric Math HW Rubric Assignments will be graded on the following basis; the assignment is complete for the day that it is due; the assignment is corrected; work is done in pencil and is legible; there is evidence that the math is understood through the completion of each problem. EFFORT Assignment is completed and the answers are corrected	3 All problems are attempted; a solution is found and all of the problems are corrected	2 Some (50-75%) of the problems are attempted; a solution is found and all of the problems are corrected	1 Less than 50% of all problems are attempted/ and or corrected
UNDERSTANDING Demonstrates Understanding and work is shown in proper format.	3 Show complete understanding of the concepts by showing the arithmetic process of each problem.	2 Show some understanding of the concepts by showing the arithmetic process of each problem	1 Does not show a complete understanding of the concepts; very little work is shown; there is no evidence of any real understanding
TIMELINESS Work is turned in on time.	3 The assignment is complete and handed in when requested (on the day that it is due)	2 The assignment is complete and handed in 1 day late	1 The assignment is not complete or handed in on time (the day that it is due) and/or homework is handed in after the block that it is due. (This does not include absences)
