Make and Describe a Pattern	Exceeding Expectations Pattern contains repetition of elements (eg. AAB, ABABC) and can describe patterns using attributes (size, colour, shape)	Meeting Expectations Candescribe and describe a pattern using 2-4 elements (e.g. AB, ABC, colour, size).	Beginning to Meet Expectations Can create and describe a pattern using 1-2 elements (e.g. colour or size)	Not Meeting Expectations Can create simple patterns and describe elements only with prompting and support.
