Script Development 10 pts	Excellent The script is interesting, clear, and easy to follow with 0-5 errors. The script is accurate to the story dialogue and action.	Good The script is interesting, clear, and easy to follow with 5-10 errors in writing and spelling The script is mostly accurate to the story dialogue and action.	Fair Most of the script is interesting, but contains more than 10 errors in writing and spelling. The script is mostly accurate, but includes dialogue or action unrelated.	Poor Most of the script is not clear and is not interesting. It is hard for the audience to follow the topic. The script strays from the topic or theme.
Character accuracy 20 pts	Excellent Character's and conflict were well chosen. The character's are accurate to the story. All events/dialogue are believable	Good Student's conflict and characters are somewhat well chosen. The character's are somewhat believable.	Fair The conflict was not well chosen. The character's don't seem very believable	Poor There was no real conflict. The character's are very different from those in the novel.
Groupwork 10 pts	Excellent Students worked well as a group and used their time diligently.	Good The students mostly used their time wisely but sometimes went off topic.	Fair The work was mostly done by 1-2 students and there was little collaboration.	Poor The students did not work well together at all.
Performance 10 pts	Excellent Students are well prepared and deliver the piece in a fluid, easy manner and display enthusiasm.	Good Students appear to be fairly prepared and are enthusiastic. There are few (less than 3) hesitations but they don't distract much from the performance.	Fair Students try to show a little enthusiasm but do not appear confident about what they are doing. There are 3-5 hesitations and long pauses.	Poor Students do not seem to be aware of what they should be doing at all. They display little or no enthusiasm. There are more than 5 hesitations, confusions of turns to read and long pauses.
