Air Pollution Poster 
In this exercise you will be researching a specific type of air pollution, building a poster with the various information you collect, presenting the information in a clear and concise way, and thinking out steps and procedures that can be used to lesson the effects or threat of the pollutant.

Air pollutant is clearly and well defined. It's hazard's are clearly stated with examples of dangers to the environment and to humans are present.
Presence of pollutant (Where)

Poor

Student does not clearly state all sources for the pollutant, they only state one source.
Fair

Student has a couple sources of the pollutant. More knowledge is needed to inform the public and make them aware.
Good

Student sites several sources of pollutant, and makes the audience emotionally aware of the presence of the pollutant and the urgency in cleaning the pollutant up
Fix or Prevent (Why)

Poor

Student does not list any measures to fix (the current problem) or prevent (a future problem).
Fair

Student lists some "ready made" fixes or preventatives. But does not critically think out other measures in which we may fix or prevent the problem.
Good

Student has several fixes and preventative measures. They have put their own individual thought into solutions (or preventative measures) to the problem. Solutions go in depth and not just surface solutions.
Poster - appearance

Poor

Poster was not thought out before putting it together. It has several scribbles (crossed- out), and unorganized.
Fair

Poster, although neat in appearance does not portray the information to the audience accurately. Some more organization and words clearly wrote would help improve this display.
Good

Poster is very well thought out, it is organized, words are very clear and can be read easily. Any audience member who comes up and looks at the poster will automatically know what the poster is about, and what it is trying to say.
Pictures

Poor

Poster only has 1 picture
Fair

Poster has 3 or more pictures, but audience is confused on how they relate to the poster.
Good

At least three high quality pictures present. Audience can understand their presence and what they are portraying as they look at the poster.
