Character Identification
Incomplete
Student did not complete question about the main characters. Did not describe characters or name them at all.
Good
Student names both characters but shows some hesitation, like they might not be completely confident in their answer. Student does not go above and beyond to explain the characters.
Excellent
Student successfully identifies both main characters and even goes above and beyond to explain the personality or physical appearances of the characters.
Plot Identification
Incomplete
Student does not know anything about the plot and it seems like they did not watch the video or pay attention at all. Their answers to questions are incomplete or almost incomplete.
Good
Student seems to understand the plot, but there is something missing, like the solution to the problem, or how the problem was reached.
Excellent
Student correctly identifies the main problem in the story, and also what the solution to the problem was. This student acknowledges all parts of the story.
Sequence
Incomplete
Student shows no knowledge on what order the story went in and did not complete the questions on sequence and order of the story.
Good
Student generally knows what is going on in the story, but might be missing a few important or even minor details.
Excellent
Student clearly knows what happened in the beginning, middle, and end of the story. He/she does not leave any details out.
Opinion
Incomplete
Student does not offer an opinion on his/her favorite part of the story.
Good
Student writes a good opinion about their favorite part of the story and explains themselves thoroughly.
Excellent
Student goes in depth and fully explains their favorite part of the story and really tries extra hard to make sure their answer is clear and descriptive.
