Well Written Sentences	Good Sentences are well built, enhance meaning and flow easily. No fragments or run-ons. There are varied beginnings and lengths.	Fair Sentences are usually correct. Few run-ons and fragments. Beginnings are not all the same.	Poor Sentences are choppy and hard to follow. There are many run-ons and fragments. Sentences begin the same way.
Word Choice	Good Use of strong verbs, adjectives and figurative language help create strong images in the mind of the reader.	Fair There is some use of strong verbs, adjectives and figurative language.	Poor Word choice does not help the reader to create an image in the mind of the reader.
