This rubric is designed for a French video presentation performance assessment in which the students will be creating a trailer for a book or movie that we have read in class this year. Students are being graded both individually and as a group. The skit must be videotaped in French.

Oral exam rubric

Create a scale model of some Roman architecture, art, or another piece of material culture. This is a broad group to choose from. It can be: 1) a model of an aqueduct, temple, or other engineering marvel; 2) a statue, vase, mosaic, or other 3-D art of significance; or, 3) clothing, jewelry, coin, military gear, or other object of material culture. A short written component and photo/video log will accompany the product. This must be portable in the classroom (no huge creations).

Working at home, students will produce a cooking video that details the cooking process of their selected dish.

Use this rubric for grading student papers. Can be customized for any subject.

This rubric will be useful for the assessment of phonological transcription skills at undergraduate level.

Students will write a one page explanation of the origins of the pinata and tell what it is used for. The paper will be typed and double spaced using Times New Roman 12 font. Students will then make a pinata following the instructions provided by the teacher and fill it with candy.
