Students are to write a short story that demonstrates their understanding of the stages of plot and the characteristics of a short story.

Evaluate the presentations on your Watch List using the following criteria. Add notes to comment on things you felt were noteworthy, done well, or other.

This rubric is to measure the expectations in grade 4 for a simple recount.

Students will create and perform thematically significant scenes from Romeo and Juliet.

Create a scale model of some Roman architecture, art, or another piece of material culture. This is a broad group to choose from. It can be: 1) a model of an aqueduct, temple, or other engineering marvel; 2) a statue, vase, mosaic, or other 3-D art of significance; or, 3) clothing, jewelry, coin, military gear, or other object of material culture. A short written component and photo/video log will accompany the product. This must be portable in the classroom (no huge creations).

Students are to create a movie trailer, poster, and radio ad for Cyrano. The media devices should engage viewers and make the viewers WANT to read the plays. Requirements include two minutes of video, music, archetypes analysis, rhetorical devices, and some editing. Posters must be 8 1/2 by 14 minimum and have color, and the rdio ad must be 45 seconds min. Student's creations MUST be relevant to the theme, archetypes, irony, logical fallacy, plot elements, and author's choices.

The student will create a short clip using Stop Motion techniques.

Students will collaborate in creating and performing thematically significant scenes from Romeo and Juliet.

Using the Value Proposition and complete Business Model Canvas, produce proof that your ideas can work on a limited budget, manage involvement of investors, and reduce the risk of running out of money.

Make a CD/Soundtrack with ten songs for a movie version of the book A Long Way Gone with an explanation for each song choice. Each explanation should also discuss how the song is related to literary elements of the book such as theme, character, or situations that the book explored.

Use this rubric for grading student papers. Can be customized for any subject.

Students will know homework expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management.

Students write and memorize a dialogue about some symptoms where they call the helpline nurse who has to ask some questions.
