Students will research, plan, and compose a speech in which they explain how a task is to be completed. Students will have 3 to 5 minutes to deliver the speech.

Students will explore a career they are interested in and tell what is done in that career, working conditions, education needed, and what life style they would like to acheive through this career. Students will also include why they chose their career and why it is important to them.

Student will give a 1 minute minimum speech. Student will introduce another classmate. This is an introductory and will be graded lightly in comparison to future speeches.

Students will debate a specific topic with team-mates.
