Students will solve word problems using various math strategies. Students will show their work in the steps required to solving a math word problem, as demonstrated in class.

While studying the elements of fiction, students write a fiction story that demonstrates their understanding of the stages of plot, characteristics of a story. and the writing process.

Class 502 wrote a research paper about the Intrepid. They visited the ship and researched pertinent facts about the ship.
