Choose a children's story to illustrate (eg. Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Hansel and Gretel). Write or summarize the story in your own words (due 4/6). Then create a book out of 3 pieces of paper folded in half and stapled together in the middle. Divide your story into six sections, and write in the book. Then create 6 illustrations to go along with the story. Remember to create a title page (include color and be creative). Final project is due 4/8.

You are to illustrate a children's story. This could be a popular story that you use (eg. "3 little pigs") or one you make up on your own. Due 1rst- Submit a copy of the story to your teacher (text only) by 4/15. Due 2nd- Make the illustrations for the story (at least 5). Include detail and color. Due 3rd- Create a book with text and illustrations (include a cover page). Submit to teacher by 4/21.

Using styrofoam cones, cut the cones into conic sections (parabola, circle, ellipse, hyperbola). Attached to each other using tooth picks. Write the equation of each conic section next to the cross-section. Paint/ color/ decorate your cone.

This book report will contain multiple paragraphs and will be limited to one page. Student name and date should appear in upper right corner of the page. First: The report should include the title and author of the book and a complete description of the main characters. Second: Descriptive Settings should be included (When and where did the story takes place?). Third: The main events should be included (What happened in the story?). Fourth: Why did you like or dislike the book? Fifth: Would you recommend this book to your classmates. Sixth: The report should include a summary of the author's overall message and/or the theme of the book. 56-50=A, 49-43=B, 42-35=C, Less than 35=D
