Identify, collect and mount leaves according to the 4 characteristics we have been studying on page 10-11 in your science book. Find these leaves and label the type and name of the leaf. Follow directions on page 12 on how to mount your leaves in your booklet. Use your own design on your booklet and how you present this to the class.

Students will build a poster describing and illustrating everything they know about the following topics.(choose 2 students per 1 topic) : 1.Basic types of energy 2. Strokes of a gasoline engine 3. Sources of power 4. States of matter 5. Forces of Nature 6. Important temperatures 7. Types of combustion engines

Students will decorate a 12" x 18" sheet of construction paper with his book's title, author, and illustrations of the story's important elements. The students will make a kite or wind sock with this material. On strips of paper for tail the students will list on separate strips elements such as the following : characters, setting descriptions, the problem and solution, a summary and five new words from the story. Please note attached directions.

Students will make a poster illustrating and labeling the 3 states of matter & the 3 states of water.
