Students will learn about tesselations and the types of tessellations that have been created. Students will then create their own tessellation using a square and altering that square with specific tessellation criteria.

The student will create a relief printmaking block using carved Styrofoam. The student will print an edition of 4 signed, numbered, and dated prints.

Students will create a landscape. Students will include a foreground, middle ground, and background. Student will draw with a pencil lightly and trace over pencil lines with sharpies. Then students will do their pattern designs in those spaces using coloured markers for filling in areas. Line, shape, pattern, colour and value elements are covered in this assignment.

In this assessment, students will work on demonstrating the Elements by creating a booklet, identifying correctly and drawing examples of each element. Neatness and organization count.

After the Elements and Principles of Art unity you will be asked to be to name all the elements and principles of art as well as know, describe, and demonstrate examples. In this assessment students will work on demonstrating the Elements and Principles by drawing and using materials in the classroom. While students are working they will be called up one by one and be asked to name and give examples of each element and principle.

Job Interview for the Park Project

Students will create a song or rap that reflects their remote learning experience in collaboration with their section.

Your Music assignment this term is to write a rap song. You are to pick a beat, and/or create a beat to go with your rap song. Your rap must have a theme, that relates to a concern or issue your feel strongly about. Minimum 4 verses Must include a chorus

You will create a fitness routine based on the routines we worked on through January and February. The fitness routine will have a warm-up, stretching, a series of exercises to complete the routine, and a cooldown. You are to include music you think would go well with your routine.

Students will create their own public service announcements to educate and persuade teens to be responsible digital citizens. Students will use sound effects and background music.

Students will record a ReadersTheater play on a google document set up by Ms. Calvert Students will their character, rehearse their lines and record them on a program Ms. Calvert sets up for them.

In small groups you will “Plan, Produce and Publish” a radio drama podcast that will be posted to our classroom private website. Students will pick an example script and/or create a script from a picture book
