This is the rubric we will use to judge the holiday door decorating contest. ***Guidelines: This year's theme is entitled "Holidays Around the World". Classes should design doors that reflect all winter holidays (Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and Winter Solstice) -Classes may decorate their doors starting 12/1/2010-12/9/2010. -Judging will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 9th. Non-classroom staff will conduct the judging and the winners (one MS and one HS class) will be announced on Friday. The winners will receive a pizza party!!!! -Please see Ms. Miller with any questions or concerns :-)

The purpose of this assignment is to raise critical thinking by working on a series (10-20 photos). The pictures must have something in common at the concept level. Examples: pictures of an event in sequence, a series of photos describing a process, a series of photos describing an idea, a series of photos that describe a place. All images show a clear connection.
