A rubric for Spanish Speaking in a presentation or oral test

You are the owner of a clothes store. You want to improve your sells and that is why you need to create a catalog. You must include at least 20 pieces of clothing (ropa,pantalones,sombreros,etc) Each article must be labeled in Spanish with the name of the article and the color. The price must be listed below the article in some form of currency from a Spanish speaking country. Do not forget to name your business and include it in the catalog. Hope you sell a lot!!!

On a Spanish speaking country map give a weather forecast in Spanish using props.

You will create a menu in Spanish for a new restaurant in Madrid. You must give your restaurant a name (in Spanish) and create the menu entirely in Spanish. The menu must contain at least 25 food items, divided into a least 5 categories - with a minimum of 5 items under each category, such as Entradas, Sopas, Bebidas, Verduras, Postres. You must describe three of your main dishes in detail. (ej: langosta con crema y queso blanco - incluye patatas al horno y ensalada de tomates y pepino). Include realistic prices, address, phone, and hours. On the day of presentation, you will order from 3 other menus.

Students will create a mobile showing weather symbols for the 4 seasons, along with clothing symbols to represent what one would wear during the season. (A minimum of 4 clothing items are required.) Then students will write sentences on the back of their weather and clothing symbols in Spanish detailing what they would wear in a particular season and where they would go. Ex: Cuando hace calor voy al parque para patinar con mis amigos. Llevo una camiseta y pantalones cortos. All work must be neat, creative and grammatically correct.

This rubric is designed for a Spanish 2 Midterm project presentation in which they will be presenting a skit in Spanish. The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary of daily routine, informal commands (affirmative and negative), and grammar points covered all quarter. Students will be graded both as a group and individually.

You will create a "creature or monster", name it and describe it. You will label 10 body parts. You will write 5 complete sentences describing your character's personality. You will describe his illness or infirmity and say what he is doing to get better.

The student will develop a detailed presentation based on their research of the country. The student will use technology to conduct internet research in order to be able to present facts about the country’s resources, culture, government, religion, geography, political atmosphere, social events, recreational pastimes, history, economics, etc. After the student has gathered all of the research, they will synthesize the information and develop a poster board presentation about their country.

Using the chapter vocabulary and building upon previous knowledge, design your dream house. Make it as detailed as you possibly can, labeling each item in Spanish.
