Assessment for Infographic

Write and present a 15 & 30 second ad scripts for Radio. Announcement must include call to action. May include: how to get to location, an attraction to visit, a unique food dish to try, how to use product, how to become a customer. Must include original music in background created in Garageband.

Create a 3-5 minute documentary that tells the story of a major event of the Civil Rights Movement

Create a 2-3 minute video documentary about a person who: broke boundaries, discovered or explored, advanced technology or served and sacrificed themselves. In your documentary you will give facts about the person's life, support those facts with pictures and visuals and most importantly, show through evidence how this person fits the category that you have selected for him/her.

Students are properly doing the pre-production paperwork.

This is intended to be a generic rubric for anyone intending on producing a storyboard for a short film that is between 30 seconds and 5 minutes in length.

Students are to produce a 1-5 minute video based on topic of their choice. Students may work in a group of up to 3, and may work with students who have the same class, but at a different period of the day. Students must hand in a paper listing everyone involved in the video and the title of the video. Preproduction, production and post production are all parts of the assignment. Script must be completed on google drive, inviting teacher to view and comment.

PSA must be from 30 to 60 seconds, have a clear message, use persuasive device method, be measurable for effectiveness & clear meaning. PSA needs a defined audience & have title and credits that are not part of 30 to 60 seconds. Music should be appropriate to topic and the level should be appropriate to hear mandatory Voice Over or Dialogue. PSA must contain a CALL TO ACTION referencing how to get involved via web link or phone or meeting place/time referenced via text AND Voice Over of Text.

Students based upon thier assigned topic from class must meet the following requirements in which they must create a 7 minute picture video using songs and pictures of their choice as long as the songs and pictures are appropriate for school as well as relevant to the subject matter. All groups must assume the role of "Mukraker" reporters, reporting the filth and progress of America.

Rubric will be used to assess the students for the group project of editing audio foley sounds, that they create, and replace all audio into a two minute video that has had all audio removed.

Video presentation demonstrating safe practices in the chemistry lab, proper measurement techniques and equipment use, and emergency procedures in case of an accident or incident.
