Georgia's ABCs mini-book
Students will create their own mini-books which will include the geography, history, and economics of Georgia. Each page needs to name a special feature about our state, include a complete sentence or two about the feature, and have an interesting, eye-catching full-color illustration representing the item.

Retell Folktales
You will choose a folktale (myth, legend, tall tale, fable or fairy tale) and write it using a different setting and characters from MN History. You must keep the same plot, message, and basic character traits of the main characters in the original folktale. Or students may create their own folktale keeping to the guidelines of the rubric. Folktales should be typed and at least one full page.

News of Me: An Autobiographical Newspaper
Create an autobiographical newspaper including the following elements: a creative name and motto for your newspaper, one picture with caption, headlines and by lines (all 3 articles), your birth article, a personal activity (sport/talent/past time) article, and a free choice personal article
