This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your poster board & presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the poster board presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your poster have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Students complete simple graphic organizer about character traits using evidence from the text

This rubric can be used to help assess a student on their understanding of the fictional story elements.

The learner will provide the main characters, the setting, and give a written and oral description of the key points of the beginning, middle, and end of a story by completing a story map. (Standards: CC.2.R.L.5 & HI.2.R.3.2 & LA.2.3.2)

Rubric is designed to measure completeness and quality of squares and sentences.

Students complete simple graphic organizer about character traits using evidence from the text. Then write about the character traits and connect the evidence from the text to create a mental picture of the character.

Students are required to answer comprehension questions doing/after class readings. Answers must be written in complete sentences.
