Students are to model a biome. The model should include appropriate living & non-living organisms present. It should include a description of the climate, what living & non-living organisms are present, how the living organisms meet their needs for survival, & an example of a food chain/web that exists in this environment. Students will need to state the name of a plant, animal, fungi, & protist of the biome. Students will also have to describe the relationships of the species of their choice.

Scenario: Ye King has granted thy permission to create and settle one more colony. Ye are to make one visual presentation of thy proposed colony. Ye must include a map that depicts thy other thirteen colonies and where yours will be located. Ye must also explain why that location was chosen. Presentation and Visuals: New Jersey
Working in groups of five, students will work collaboratively on a presentation to the class based on the first two Chapters of the New Jersey book. Each group will prepare an 8 to 10 minute presentation to the class on their topic. Each group presentation shall include two visuals prepared by the group illustrating the regions of New Jersey and a creative visual decided upon by the group.
