Diary Entry Rubric Anne Frank
The student will write four diary entries in the style of the Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett. Each entry will be at least 100 words and be as accurate as possible in the area of setting, characterization, and writing style similar to the play. The student may write as any of the characters in the play. Students will read aloud one part of their diary to the class following submission.

Movie Poster Based on Literature
Pretend your book has been made into a movie. Create a POSTER to advertise your "movie"(book). Your poster should be 24" x 36". Be creative! AVOID: Do NOT copy the Book's cover...this will result in a grade of zero. Your poster will not have white space---unless it is a part of the picture, a uniform, whites of people's eyes etc.

Poetry Analysis Essay Poetic/Literary Elements
Essay will analyze one of the poems we have read in class. In this essay, write a response to your chosen poem. Describe the poem’s key elements (such as rhythm, rhyme, alliteration, assonance, onomatopoeia, and figurative language). How do these elements affect the overall meaning or theme of the poem?
