SPACE Lapbook assessment rubric

Student will be able to color and define assigned type of cloud, and through oral questioning will be able to identify 4 types of clouds. (Standard 2.1 B)

Create a brochure intended to inform consumers about the benefits of conserving soil and provide some examples of how to do it.

The students will create a place value book using 5 different numbers. They will use all the place value forms of a number with each number they choose. Each number will be written in Standard Form, Expanded Form, and Word Form.

Your task is to create a poster that addresses: 1. Explanation of the place value system. 2. How to multiply decimals. 3. How to divide decimals. 4. When good multiplication and division skills with decimals are needed and why they are important. Include examples, and visual models to help the class have a clear understanding of how to work with decimals. Your poster needs to have multiple representations using pictures, numbers and words.

A paragraph is a group of sentences supporting the topic sentence/main idea. This rubric will assess how well students develop the topic and support main ideas within a Graphic Organizer.
