Student council wants to sponsor a film festival and the homecoming dance. SC needs to know what students like/don't like. In groups of 2/3, create a survey asking about movies, music, and foods. Ask at least 10 questions. You will then ask your classmates to fill it in. Afterwards, you will create a graph that will represent the results to see what the student council needs to do. Finally, you will present your results to the class EN ESPANOL. 20pts EC for a memorized presentation.

Students will create a cartel in Spanish. They will incorporate informal affirmative and negative commands to advertise a global issue,give advise, or give intructions.

Students must research and present the Latin American national hero assigned to them. The oral presentation must be in Spanish and the accompanying PowerPoint, or any other presentation medium, must be in Spanish, as well. The presentation must show why this character is considered a national hero. In your presentation you must have the following information: Name, place of birth, nationality, short biography and contributions.

Create and present a fashion show or Talk show (fashion based) using clothing vocabulary. Each person should have at least 5 lines.

Students (in small collaborative groups) will devise a project that teaches about present tense regular "ar,er,ir" verb conjugations. Project must include a proposal, presentation and visual component. Your presentation can be a power point, prezi, web page (edmodo), video or an actual presentation infront of the class. Be creative! Project is due on: January 14th/15th.

You will create a scrapbook for 6+ family members. This can be your real family or your ideal family. You will create a min. of 6 pgs and a max of 10. You will include images for: age, origin, 2 descriptions, 2 likes, 2 dislikes, 2 favorite activities, and how they are related to you. Each page has to be a different relative. *You will present your Scrapbook in Spanish to the class on Monday, April 29th. You may use notecards, but if you don't use any notes you will get +10 pts extra credit!

Students will create a poster containing a picture of an AR/-ER/-IR verb. They will conjugate their verb in all forms, including the subject pronoun, and then they will write three (3) complete sentences in Spanish using three (3) different subject pronouns.

To evaluate your progress on the “mi familia” unit in Spanish, you will be constructing a family photo album or family tree poster of a famous or fictious (make-believe) family, BUT if you want, you can still do a REAL family tree of your family.

You have been learning about Dia De Los Muertos in Spanish class. You were asked to make an 'ofrenda' representing a person you would like to honor after they have passed. It may be a relative, friend, or famous person who have passed away.
