Journal Entries - other character
Create three journal entries as any character other than Gregor. You must have at least 3 journal entries. Metamorphosis Poetry Project
Students will write two poems. The first poem will be from the bug's point of view; the second poem will be from any other character's point of view. Create two poems that contains 4 stanzas each with 4 lines in each stanza. Poems will b typed in Times New Roman, 12 point font and present each poem to the class. Each poem should effectively each character and address a specific theme of the piece.

Movie Poster Based on Metamorphosis
"Metamorphosis" has been made into a movie. Create a POSTER to advertise your "movie". Your poster should be easy to read. Be creative, colorful, include a title, pictures, movie times, movie ratings. AVOID: Do NOT copy the graphic novel's pictures...this will result in a grade of zero. Also avoid, sloppy picture and lettering, and lack of effort. Your poster will not have white space---unless it is a part of the picture, a uniform, whites of people's eyes etc......

Create a Prezi presentation analyzing how well Kuper uses a symbol (other than the bug) to advance a theme. This presentation must be professional, creative, engaging to the rest of the class, and address the assigned content.

Twitter Rubric- Individual Tweet Metamorphosis Graphic Novel
Students will use Twitter to tweet as Gregor. Create one tweet for each page of the graphic novel (19 total). Twitter Post - 140 characters or less for each tweet. NOTE: You do not need to actually post to twitter. All tweets should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 font.

Write a skit for The Metamorphosis
Students will write a skit to convey a theme from the short story, "The Metamorphosis" incorporating at least three characters (different from the story). The skit must include dialogue, stage directions and background information for the reader. All work must be typed in Times New Roman, 12 font and have a clear beginning, middle and conclusion and be at least 4 pages in length.
