You will be required to create a 3-5 minute iMovie podcast highlighting the severity of the water crisis in your African country of study. In this video you will bring an awareness of this issue to your audience, speak of the effects, talk about the solutions implemented by the government and whether or not the solutions have been successful and finally you will offer your suggestions.

Students will complete a solar system research project as well as create a 3D model of the solar system for display.

This letter is to persuade the company to use an alternative form of packaging because of the harmful effects of plastic on the environment. Students will take their knowledge of our solar system and create a 3D model of it. The planets should be in the correct order and be relatively proportioned to each other (Mars should not be bigger than Jupiter). The sun should be included. All planets should be clearly labeled in some way. Each student will have to present their project to the class, so they should come prepared to discuss how their 3-D solar system model was created and be able to discuss the solar system and planets.

Students must create a 3-D model of a plant cell. Students must label all parts of the cell listed below and be prepared explain their model. The model must represent the major aspects of a cell, including but not limited to: nucleus, mitochondria, cell wall, cytoplasm, and vacuole.

Create a 3-4 minute iMovie on the European explorer assigned. Include a biography of explorer, the country that sponsored his voyage, the purpose of the voyage, and what was accomplished. Interesting Information: Write a paragraph, which contains interesting information you learned from your research. Use a world map to trace the individual explorer’s voyage. Please include the map in the iMovie. All countries involved should be labeled.Please list resources used and use your own words.

Students will create a " video" that will be 3 to 5 minutes in length. It will consist of creating a newscast with anchors and reporters discussing the Taino Influence in Jamaica. The video must include each partner speaking. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video. The final script is due October 10th and the video is due October 20.
