Students will create a comic strip of the novel they chose from our class Book Club. After reading each chapter in their novel, they will illustrate what they believe is the most important part of that chapter and write a brief caption describing what is happening in that scene underneath their drawing. They will have one scene and caption for every chapter, resulting in a comic strip that describes the book in pictures and captions in sequence chapter by chapter, one chapter at a time.

This is a Media Assignment for A Public Service Announcement (PSA) to deliver a message to the public– about how to prepare for a Winter Storm such as a Blizzard and to be ready for 72 Hours without electricity and to have enough food, water, etc. and to be able to communicate with others and to stay safe until Emergency Crews can restore power. Construction Paper, glue, scissors, are all on the blue cabinet at the front of the classroom and markers are at the back on the trolley.
