Rubric for evaluating students in dance.

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of hip hop movement and create a dance that uses spatial relationships, canons, and different tempos.

Dance students will perform a chosen dance from our world dance unit and perform in front of the class. They will begin the presentation with a brief introduction about the dance. The students should explain the title of the dance, what country it is from, why it is performed and what the dancers wear in the dance. After the introduction the dance students will perform this world dance with knowledge of the steps and performance quality.
