Reading aloud in Spanish

Oral Presentation in Spanish.. Students do an oral reading of a passage that has been introduced, reviewed and discussed in class

Video yourself giving a 7-day (Monday to Sunday) weather forecast in Spanish of one capital city of a Spanish speaking country. Present the visual shape of the chosen country (or state) in a Powerpoint slide. Include the numeric temperature (degrees). Include visual weather icons and use Spanish vocabulary for the weather forecast in your capital city 7-day forecast- make sure you state the days of the week in Spanish in the powerpoint.

Students will create a brief skit in Spanish about shopping. Students will talk about clothing, shopping, and personal needs. Students will state to whom things are for and express opinions.

Reading aloud in French

Students will create a PowerPoint slideshow of the interior and exterior of their dream house and a floor plan of each story of the home.

This rubric is designed for a Spanish video presentation in which the students will be presenting vocabulary and grammar concepts from a chaper from their text. Their video must have two parts: En Contexto in which they present the important vocabulary. En Vivo in which they present a dialogue demonstrating their understanding of the vocabulary covered in the chapter in addition to any previous knowledge they have from Spanish 1. Students are being graded both individually and as a group.

Use vocabulary for greetings, introductions, goodbyes, calendar, to create a short 3-4 minute skit in Groups.
