Arden Physical Education Rubric-Ezekiel

Students will be in groups and create a group game that the whole class or a small group can play. Grade 5- low organizational game Grade 6- Low organizational striking game Grade 7- Low organizational territory/invasion game Grade 8- Low organizational net game

Students will be required to write their own 2 week workout plan. They will be required to include the 5 Components of Health-Related Physical Fitness. Students are allowed to use any for of exercise they wish to incorporate these elements.

6th grade evaluation on fundementals of soccer. Students are rated and scored on the mechanics of the skills below. Students are scored at 12 possible points. Scoring in the Advanced range gains extra credit.

Standard 5

This is the most important shot. The most important thing is the weight transfer. The weight transfer is like a lot of other sports such as baseball and golf. Your weight will transfer from your back to your front leg. Stand perpendicular to your target with your stick cupped on the puck and the puck behind your back foot. Transfer your weight as you move the puck forward, and follow through. When you finish your follow through, your stick should be pointing towards your target at around your waist.

Class participated in various ultimate games: ultimate frisbee, ultimate football, speedball, and hawker ball. Unit was played both inside and outside.

Students will be graded on paritcipation and effort throughout the school year in a variety of activities including (but not limited to): Warm Up, Volleyball, Fitness, Soccer, Flag Football, Racket games, Badminton, Basketball, Dancing, Softball, and Yard games
