Students will choose one of the minerals and research its' uses. the following things will need to be on the paper. 1) Name of Mineral 2) Provide the Chemical Formula 3) What is the type of crystal system? 4) List the Physical Properties (color, streak, cleavage/fracture, hardness, luster, any other special properties) 5) Uses or things that it can be made into, cool facts that set it apart from other minerals, etc. 6) Color photo or colored drawing

General rubric for group project in science

Use the "Lab Report Format" to create your lab report. Each of the nine sections in the checklist will be evaluated to compile an overall 100% classwork/project grade for each lab report. Use this rubric to help you critique your lab report so that you may get the highest score possible.

On two blank sheets provided, draw a pictorial representation of each reproductive style you just read about (sexual & asexual). Be sure to use vocabulary associated with the reproductive style, ensure your drawing fills the entire space provided, is colorful, descriptive and shows how genetic material (chromosomes) are divided.
