Fast Food Healthy Options
We all eat out and sometimes, it's difficult to find a good selection of healthy options at your favorite fast food restaurant. Students are to pick 1 meal to write at least a 1-2 page persuasive paper telling why their fast food selection is a great healthy option.

Nutrition Commercial Presentation rubric
Students will work together to create a PSA type commercial 2-3 min.. The presentation will contain relevant information directly related to nutrition facts, healthy eating and statistics from all relevant videos/notes.

Be Your Own Personal Trainer
At the end of the semester, after all the elements of physical fitness have been covered, students will be required to write their own 6 week workout plan. They will be required to include each element discussed in class including, muscular strength, muscular endurance, Cardiorespiratory endurance and flexibility. They are allowed to use any for of exercise they wish to incorporate these elements. At the end of each week, the students must write a short summary about which elements matched the exercises. The students will be given an example of an exceptional workout plan.
